The crew at Aunt Aggie's Spinning Mill consists of four people. All family. We're either crazy or, well...crazy. First is Jim and Kathy Stark. Married since 1964, they've raised six children, became grandparents 13 times, participated in more weddings, birthday parties and school functions than any sane person should have to, and through it all, farmed. Even when they worked typical jobs, they still returned to their passion...farming. Which led them to spinning in a round about way.
Next is Eric and Sara Deck. Sara is the sixth (and yes the baby) of Jim and Kathy. Sara, a nurse, met Eric through a colleague and have been married since 1999. When a family member introduced Sara to knitting, an obsession was born. Poor Eric would never again buy store bought hats or socks. No matter how flawed the project, Eric wears the gnarly, misshaped knitted item with an unnessessary sigh of resignation.
